Air Bed Mattress
Set-up Guide
1) Determine where you want to place your bed. Remove your air bed mattress
top from its box and place it on the foundation with the zipper
starting at the head of the bed.
2) With the mattress top unzipped, remove the air control from inside
the bed and place on the floor near the head of the bed. Also, be sure
to remove the packaging covering the air control (quilted cover may be
left on).
3) Unroll each pair of foam rails. Place the pair of side rails (long
rails) along the side of the bed. then place the shorter rails at the
head and foot of the airbed.
4) Remove the rubber stopper from the hose on each air chamber. Store
rubber stoppers in quilted air control cover under your bed. The
rubber stoppers may be used to hold air in the chambers should the air
control system need servicing.
5) Thread hose from the right air chamber through the hole in the
bottom of the cover at the corner under the air chamber, at the head of
the bed. Make sure the air chamber and hose connections face upward.
Connect the hose into the quick connect port on the right side of the
pump. once this is completed, repeat the process using the remaining
hose for the other side of the bed. Inflate the air chambers just
enough to make sure that they are flat and not folded or creased. Note:
Full and Twin size air beds come with only one air chamber.
6) Place the foam divider vertically between both air chambers. This
acts as a supportive barrier between the two air chambers. For models
that come with an additional HR, Visco, or mid-body foam pad, place
this on the air chambers.
7) Place the quilted mattress top back on the foundation and then zip
completely closed. Then fill the right air chamber and then the left
air chamber to the desired firmness. Rest assured you can not
over-inflate the air bed mattress.
